No, but the auto transmissions are often a source of trouble in these cars too. Sorry!


I have a 95 740i that I'm taking in for "leakdown" test next week since it has developed a really rough idle in the past month. Does anyone who's familiar with this problem know if when engine starts to go bad, does the transmission start to shift less than smoothly. (i.e. will it get better after short block replacement).
