Anyone know what colour my car is? (archive)

Hi all,
I own a 95 E38 730iA and I dont know what the name of the colour is. The dealer told me its Aspen Silver but a friend of mine who is an expert on the cars has told me its called Dolphin Metallic. (I do prefer the name Aspen Silver though). Anyway, we argue about it and its getting pretty anoying not knowing what the colour of your own car is, especially when somebody asks. It has like a tint of violet in it and silver. Does anybody know?
