I agree except that I would want the M7 to be a v12. Tuned to somewhere around 500bhp (the engine is very capable it puts out almost 700 in the mclaren f1)It would truly be the ultimate driving machine. cosmos black exterior / black and grey two tone leather interior. 18" standard rims but optional 20's. I was hoping that theyd do something like this for the last year of e38 but no such luck. I guess we'll have to wait for e65. Why do the 3 an 5 guys get to have all the fun??
I also believe that your idea of using the 400bhp M5 engine is a great idea, especially in the short wheelbase model. if the 740 is can run to 60 in ~6 sec. with 282 bhp then with 400 it should be around 5.5 right?? Well I've been hopin for one since I saw the M5. I hope BMW is listening.- Dogra 98 740iL
