i recently bought a car and took it to a detailer to have the water spots removed. previous owner washed it using hard water. well, the water spots came off, but as i was previously warned, the acid used, somehow exposed the wiper pattern on the window.. it now has a slight haze to it and i will replace the windshield with a new one...never to do this again on the windshield..

posted earlier, but can't find post! so will try again -bought car today, drove home and noticed "soap or haze-like" areas that won't come off windshield, driver's side - seems as if they're 'inside' glass!! didn't see this at test drive-car was ''detailed'' by dealer prior to today's delivery . also saw at bottom of windshield what looked like clear,wavy areas that distorted view. any ideas/thoughts? thanks so much =please could you email me at MICKDG1@AOL.COM -
