picked up new titainium silver 740 iL today - i don't believe this - i'm really worried and of course will call dealer, but i didn't know if you've ever run into this:
-(didn't ''see' this on thurs. when we drove the car for quite awhile -) that near the bottom of the front windshield, (just above the hood, behind the vents) vision looking thru the glass seemed ''distored'' in sort of a ''wavy'' pattern - similar to a pattern when you're looking thru smoke, only this was clear - when we got out of the car, looked at the hood (over the motor -think that's called the ''hood'') -reflection & pattern of the hood seemed similar to the same pattern we saw looking thru the windshield -with light silver, is it possible that this ''pattern''is being reflected at the bottom area of the windshield actually from the hood?! or could there be problems with the glass itself! husband also noticed it - we sit ''low'' even with the seats raised up because we're short - tomorrow,we'll put a sheet over the hood and see if that stops this ''pattern'' but it is ''in'' the glass of the windshield -it's not dirt -i cleaned it - have you ever heard of this? of course we'll call the agency, but if it is the glass, what can be done and have you ever heard of this happening?? thanks for any thoughts

UPDATE: PROBLEM GRACIOUSLY BEING TAKEN CARE OF FOR US -
