I live in the UK and have a 89 750IL. I have recently bought the car and this is the first cold weather I have had to cope with. It seen to suffer from excessive interior condensation, that feels a bit greasy, and take quite a time to clear. Could anyone throw any light on this matter.many thanks
Make sure that the recirculation is not engaged. Should be a button with the arrows forming a circle icon. If it is engaged you will fog up. If you still get lots of condensation and maybe a sweet smell/taste, you may have a bad heater core. The guys on the E32 board have a procedure for replacing the heater core and many have successfully done it themselves.
