Hi - I bought a 98 740iL that came with a CMT5000VR phone. The dealer had reset the phone and cleared all previously stored numbers. When I enter a number, followed by the Alpha name, it prompts me 'Name Please' - no matter how loud, slow and clear I say it, the system will wait a few seconds and say 'Ready'. It saves the number and name, however no voice tag....Is there something I can check? I tried FCN 6 to mute/unmute to no avail... I don't have the phone programmed with cellular service yet, I don't think that should make a difference though. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
