1- I don't have a problem with a ballot recount. I do, however, have a big problem with continuous recounts until the democrats get the desired result. I'm sorry, but the reason we have computers counting the votes is because there is BIG TIME human error. If you are going to have a hand count in Palm Beach County, you better have 5 hand recounts. Where the hell will it stop? If you are going to have a revote, you better revote the panhandle of FL (different time zone) - heavily republican, and all didn't go out and vote due to the liberal news media calling the election early.
2- The popular vote is pretty much 50-50 and may turn out to be a Bush advantage in the long run - there are 1,000,000 uncounted absentee ballots in California alone.
3- Gore and the democrats are not only pitting the parties and their respective supporters against one another. Given the following of their parties, they are pitting white men and married white women (generally the republicans) against the following groups.
a. Single white women
b. Blacks
c. Jews
d. Homosexuals
This is not good for the country and the sooner Gore throws in the towel - the better for our country.
In the future, I hope that all polls before the election are kept internally - we don't need to know that and have it influence the vote. Furthermore, let's not call the states until 100% are in.
Remember, we hear a lot about FL, we don't hear about illegals voting in CA and the Gore team passing out free cigs to the homeless to get them to vote.
