The squeak may be the emergency brake cable in its mount. This responds to grease (lithium - never, ever use WD40 or anything like that on your 7) and will help diagnose the problem. After a while the squeak may return and the guide will have to be replaced.

7s have other noises that commonly come from the sway bar links, they could squeak, and they clunk too. Not expensive to replace.

When I got my 7 I could hear the squeak just slowly driving down the road. Sounded like a bunch of mice.

does anyone else have this problem?
whenever i get into the car and sit down in the driver's seat, i hear this slightly audible "squeeeak"...
is this a sign of a suspension problem? or is this really nothing to worry about?
and i weigh around 155, so its not like i'm putting THAT much weight on it...
thanks in advance for any input -
