Any one added an aftermarket radio to their bmw (archive)

I seen a nice sat nav system and radio system that where together.It goes where you radio is now and a lcd screen comes out for the sat nav.I was wondering if it could be done as the radio in bmw's are different to normal radio's.as my car ain't got sat nav I have been looking in to it and am thinking of getting one.
