for some reason, i usually need to push the center console door lock button twice to lock all the doors...the passenger side door lock doesn't want to go down with the others until the second push -
this only happens when i first start the car in the morning...after that, it works perfectly...
anyone know why?

I had the same problem with my 97 740i. It seems that if I pushed on the center locking swith a number of times, it seemed to "fix" itself. Somewhere on this board I read that someone metioned spraying a little WD-40 into the switch. On one hand it did seem like the switch was sticking, but I just didn't feel comfortable spraying the WD-40 down into the switch, so I just keep pressing the switch 3-4 times every couple of weeks or so and it works fine.
