Hi all, Hi Bob I just purchased a 95 730iA E38 from a local dealer and I was told it was imported from Singapore (I live in New-Zealand). It doesn't have climate air and I was told that it should come Standard. I was also told that I shouldn't buy a BMW from Singapore, and of course, three days after I bought it. Now, I am worried that I made a big mistake and I am very scared that I have bought a Lemon and that I will have big problems in the future. Already, the boot has malfunctioned, the battery has run flat, the "Check Tail Light" and "Check brake light" signs always appear on the dash, the inner ceiling has collapsed, the rear-blind motor needed replacing and the left rear door rattles when shut. I would also like to know how to take the back leather seats out and put them in again. Does anyone have any ideas? Does anyone recommend a bit of DIY (Do it yourself) work on the car? Does any body know how to take the door panels to pieces safely or to remove the rear seats? What about the messages that appear on the BC screen? The more I write the more I worry! Has the ceiling Scenario ever happened to anyone before. I would really appreciate any suggestions, info ao replies. Thanks a bunch Kind Regards, Bill.
