Yes, I have in my 97' 740il.

In the rear center console there are (2) jacks "A/V IN" and "A/V OUT".

You will need a mini stereo plug to RCA cable. You can get this at Best Buy for $2. I bought one for the IN and one for the OUT.

For the monitor use A/V OUT and connect RCA jacks to the monitor. Some monitors use mini stereo plugs for input, so you might have to splice two cables together.

For VCR or DVD- use the A/V IN and set the channel on the dash display to A/V.

You will be up and operational.

Hope this helps.

Have anyone connected any monitor or video to the rearseat midconsole connectors AV in and AV out with success??? Donīt get any relevant help from BMW!
Any suggestions?
Someone solved how to program the TV to show picture when driving on the 740 2001?
