X5 versus RX...citing gas mileage suggests that your biggest consideration is economics.....if so, look at the future depreciated value of these two SUVs in three four or five years...the real value is the BMW.....to decide on gas mileage alone is like chasing a dollar across a freeway...


I am going to buy the RX. If I were to get a X5, I would lease it. (If that makes a difference). I don't know if it would.

The RX300 actually has very good residual values. Maybe not as good as the X5, but they still hold their value quite well.
