I'm also considering a '01 MB E320/E430 4matic. The reason is because they have 4wd available. This would be handy for me b/c I go to work in curvy roads in the winter. Having an SUV and this car would let me have the capability of "feeling" safe for the harsh winters.

Does anyone have any experience with the 4matics in the winter? How do they handle? Good enough? How are the E's in general, luxury wise. I've seen some pics in the www.mbusa.com site, and it seems great. Honestly, The dash isn't as good as the S (LOL, obviously), but it's good enough. Just wanna know your experiences with 4matics.
