I don't know about the handle hanging...but did you check the child safety lock (located in the edge of the door between the ext & int) to see if it was accidentally switched on? If someone accidentally hit the little toggle switch, the door can only be opened from the outside so that the little kiddies don't pull the door latch open and fall out while daddy or mommy is toolin' down the road.

Hey everyone,
the passenger side door handle on the inside no longer opens the door. My dad was driving and I was the passenger. As usual i tried to pull the handle twice to unlock the door but on the second pull the handle came forward but the door didnt open. Now the handle just hangs open and doesnt function. I hope someone knows a fix for this, or I will have to take it to the dealer next week. Thanks in advance, Dogra.
