Don't know about the plastic covers but you are looking at replacement of the entire foglamp unit as BMW don't offer the glass lens as an option.

I replaced one of mine recently and its a 2 minute job. The unit is released by pressing 2 x plastic snap fits and hinging outwards towards the wheel. The snapfits are reached via 2 small holes in the airdam next to the foglight unit. Approx cost of the lamp assembly was about US$140
