Infra Red Key Buttons Nackered (archive)

Guys,

I have a 1995 730i and one of the infra red keys is a bit nackered. The key still works, but the rubber buttons are almost warn through. The rubber is now software and breaking down.

As mine have to come from Germany (1995 onwards does) does anyone know if it is possible to fix the rubber?

If so what do you do to fix them ?
