Bought new 740il 2001 with convenience package. Window sticker states "power-fold, auto-dimming outside mirrors. I know what the power dimming does but what is "power-fold"?

Hi there,
I have the mirror package on my 95 730iA.
Your car is a left-hand drive (I assu e you live in the US) but it should be the same as in mine.
On the drivers door controls, to the left of the electric mirror controls there is a small black button. By pressing this button, the exterior mirrors fold in to fit in a tight space and also to avoid people walking in to them.
