I have always loved BMWs but do have to give respect the MB for their ability to last forever and not give thier owners nearly half the trouble that a BMW would. The newer BMWs should last longer and be less costly to maintain so now its just a matter of choice, drive both and pick the one that you like, dont listen to others say.
An M7 based on a E38 750i with a 6 speed and a M modified V 12 is the best damn car there ever can be!!!!


BMW put the F1 motor in the X5, maybe the hotrod Germans in the BRD will get a little crazy and try out your suggestion.
