I drove the car today and it vibrated hard when I started the car with some fume. But after driving a while, the car became completely normal. Is that the way it is? I have bad catalysts on the car, do you think the cars cause the problem?

95 740i

I don't know what the symptoms of a bad Cat are but my 95 740il also had a wobbly idle when started and was pretty noticable especially when very cold. After the car warms up it would run smooth most of the time but then from time to time at a stop light it would wobble a little even when at normal operating temp.
