Just purchased an '01 740i-Sport. This is the second car I have owned with a nav. My last nav was in a lexus; it was a touch-screen that was quite different in operation.

In the 7-series brochure it says that you can get directions to atm's, hospitals, restaurants, etc. (places that you do not know the address!). How do I select one of those categories?

I appreciate any help you can offer.

Use the menu to select either "Info on current location", or "Info on Destination". You'll be presented with the categories you are looking for. Generally, the infor is reasonably good, but here in Calif with the bank consolidations, the ATM information is only about 70-80% accurate.
