I've replaced the bulb on this side about 4 time in 6 months. The drivers side bulb is fine. Any Ideas.

Funny Story. I have a 97 528i. The drivers side bulb keeps blowing. Everytime I go to the parts dept at my local dealer the service mgr and parts mgr as me the same two questions over and over. Did I replace that bulb with an OEM BMW bulb and did I touch the bulb with my bare fingers as the oil from your fingers will shorten the life of the bulb. I repeatedly show them the receipt for the buld, the actual OEM blown bulb and I tell them I do not touch the bulb with my bare fingers.

If it happens one more time, I am going to demand a new bulb assembly. I will say that of the three BMW's I have owened, versus the other cars I have owened I blow more bulbs on the BMW's than any of the other cars combine. I think BMW has an electrical problem they doo not want to admit to. Just my opinion.
