in my 00 sport the display definitely dims when the light are turned on. i suppose the software assumes that the lights are only used at night, when the display should be dimmer. in fact, that's the only time my display dims. i have specifically noticed this when sitting in the car at night with the lights off and the key turned so i could listen to the radio. the display is so bright at night when the lights are off that its very annoying.

I have a 01 740isport and i have noticed that the Nav LCD display fades sometimes. Sometimes when I get in my car the display will be bright and other times it will be very dim even when I turn the lights on. Has anyone had this problem.
