hey, i have a 2001 Titanium Silver 740i sport, loving it i might add. Unfortunately i scraped the edge of one rim against the curb and the edges are scratched. You can't tell from far away, but up close it doesn't look that good. Any one have any suggestions as to fixing it besides replacing the rim? Also, there's a persistant shaking noice coming from the steering wheel sort of like something is loose, whenever I go over bumps or potholes, stupid bay area freeways, anyway, i was wondering if anyone knew a solution to this annoying shaking. thanks in advance


Hello,
I have the same car and I scratched a little too, the best way is to get a fine steel wool pad and work the area scratched very carefuly and always in the direction of the grain until smooth, then get a mild polishing wax and rub it until the fine lines created by the steel wool disappear.
