this may sound like a strange question, but i can't get to the dealer to see other bmw's -home sick, and the suspense is wearing on me - had to have windshield replaced - 2000 = 7 series.
thereafter, noticed the black plastic/rubber strip that runs up the side of the windshield towards the top of the car - does that black strip ''overlap" a little and 'rest' onto the metal of the car, or does it 'tuck' into the seam between the glass and the metal of the car? ours is 'laying/overlapping''and the top of one side is 'lifting' ever so slightly - thanks so much!
