Am looking into importing a Euro vehicle. Does anyone have information re shops which 'do' the federalization thing, either in Houston or Florida's east coast ? Any feedback regarding similar experiences greatly appreciated. My thanks in advance.


Try Wallace Enviromental Testing Labs in Houston. They are a Registered Importer. They even have a website if you run a search. Then prepare to wait six months and spend tens of thousands of dollars. You will encounter endless headaches and delays. This is the world of Gray Market these days. When you finally succeed you may wish you had just driven down to the dealer, it would have been faster and cheaper in the end. Best of Luck though if you decide to pursue this.
