I finally got mine programmed. Tried it four or five times. I guess it was taking the program probably all along. It just has such crappy range, I wasn't getting close enough to the garage door for it to open. What a POS. The only way it will close the door is if I am still partially in the garage backing out. Admittedly a little dangerous with a 740 only a few feet under the closing door. Thinking about adding an antenea extension to the door opener. Not sure what to try. Maybe a thousand watt amp on the car transmitter. hahahah..

Does anyone know how to program the UT for a garage opener, I have a Sears transmitter that I think changes the signal randomly. I tried holding down the outside buttons and then select the one I want (holding it in)and hitting my garage opener until the light is steady, but the thing never works, and my wife and kids think I'm going crazy opening and closing the garage door for hours at a time. HELP, what am I doing wrong...
