Where to buy Engine Wire Harness for 4.4? (archive)

I have 1998 740 IL with 4.4 V-8 and I posted before a message about a check engine light. I had check engine light on and then I went to my mechanic and after he reseted the computer, check engine light dissapeared. It only comes on after I go over 85. Since I do not have a warranty, I went back to my mechanic and he ran a test on my e38 and he got a message "Missfire in cyllinder 6 and 8", but my engine is working perfectly fine and when we looked at that code from the computer, it said that Engine wire harness on the right side is not good, this is why I'm getting check engine light and my car eats more gas.
I called Paccific BMW to get a price quote on Right side Engine wire harness and I was told they the retail price is $960 and their price is $635 and they sell as one piece (left and right). On the other side this guy told me that this part fails very rarely.
Does anyone knows any used parts centers where I can purchase it? Please HELP !!!!
