Just bought a 2000 740il yesterday, cosmos/grey. Question about the windshield. There is a little square right in the middle at the bottom of the windshield that looks different, less tinted or something. Excuse the newbie question, but I figure I should ask the experts!

That's where you'd place your EZ-Tag (That's what it's called her in TX) for toll ways.


By the way EZ-tag is one of those toll way express passes that lets you just drive through a toll station without having to stop to pay. They have equipment that reads the tag (On the inside of your windsheild) and automatically deducts the toll amount from your account. If placed behind the UV screened portion of the windsheild it won't work, hence that unscreened square.
