So, it depends where you live-
I live in NorCal - my dealer charged me $575 for Inspection II...but guess what you get for that:

1) Unparelleled return service - I returned for a CPO repair two weeks later and found that they'd completed another Inspection II on the vehicle free of charge (I'll take it:-)

2) Immediate and unchallenged response to request for loaner.

3) Free wash (big deal;0)
4) Future purchasing power - negotiation's a bitch

I too live in Northern California and bought a 1998 740i a few months ago from Monterey BMW, an very good dealership but a long drive away. Could you post the name of the Dealer you had this excellent experience with ? Thanks.
