I have a 2000 740i that has similar problem - espeically the noise from the seat belt adjuster! I have had 8 warranty calls in 1 year. I finally called the BMW rep. in the MidWest, and his response was that such issues were not untypical for a 7 series!

I love the car, but my wife will never let us buy a BMW again - especially since we are the only ones with a BMW amongst our friends and our car problems have become a joke amongst them.
