Hello. I'm considering the purchase of a new 7-series in Oxford Green. My dealer does not have any in his lot, and the brochure does not give me a good idea as to what the car would look like in real life. Does anyone have any pics of a 7 in oxford green that I can use to make my decision? Also, how does this color compare to Fern Green? -Thanks a lot

The Oxford Green metallic color has been available on the 740 (and other series BMWs) for five or so years. For good reason -- it's a tremendously handsome and timeless color. The popular combination is that color with the sand/beige interior. It was my first choice until I saw a Biarritz Blue ('97) with the sand interior.

You can't go wrong with the green. It's the shade of green (deep/rich) that's appropriate for a luxury sedan.
