Electrical gremlins. AC temp display pixels dissappearing for example (expensive replacement). My right side power window motor was burnt (dealer fixed on "good will" before I took delivery at 58k miles.) Continuous "check brake light" warnings despite bulbs being fine. And, base sound system sucks. Probably other things as well, don't remember right now.

However, the pleasure of owning the car makes it worth it!! ;) I love my 95' E38.
big t; about your check brake light. remove the circuit board that your tail lite bulb plugs into (it is easy) you'll find that the solder conection has eroded due to electrical current/too little solder all it requires is a pencil type solder gun and a little solder.
