The current Roundel (2/01)on page 90 has a note about a Service Information Bulletin. It states that E38s produced up to January 2000 can suffer wiring harness damage from a metal panel in the left wheel housing. This can cause various electrical faults. Warning lights and check control displays may be activated, sometimes intermittently. The number of the Bulletin is 61 14 00, November 2000.
