My 740il is going in for 60k service this coming Friday. The items bieng serviced are the spark plugs, Fuel filter, air filter, A/C micro filters, oil change, cooling system flush, etc. I am told it will be @ $600.00

Where can I find a listing of what service is done at the 60K checkup? What should it cost?


The items are listed in your Service and Warranty Information book pages 6-9 that should be with your owners manaual. It is a separate smaller book. It lists what is done for Inspection I or Inspection II. Also it makes recommendations for O2 sensor changes, coolant changeouts and brake fluid changeouts. You car is the same age as mine and needs the coolant changeout and brake fluid change if it hasn't had it already. The mechanic/dealer should have recorded what was done in the past in this section.
