On it is a handy locator feature that will tell you who has the equipment within X number of miles in you area.
Bear in mind that even this GSP 9700 system is no better than the peon operating it! I found that to be the problem in a tire shop I frequent. You must make sure that the person operating this system fully understands and knows exactly what he is doing. Now I watch said person very closely, and IF the force weight number even begins to approach the 25 pound limit, I get the manager to finish evaluating that wheel/tire combination. Caught said peon slapping weights on one that showed 33 pounds(force), and this is way to far out. This system tells the operator precisely where to rotated the tire to have the wheel and tire exactly in the correct position or sweet spot to each other, and when this tire was rotated to that point on the wheel correctly, the 33 pounds became only 15, which is acceptable. No sense in having it done IF the operator doesn't fully understand what he is supposed to be doing. When performed correctly by a skilled technician, there is no better way to balance your wheels!
Hi Guys,
Anyone know how to balance wheels.Replaced my stock with Radial style32's from a 1999 540i.Tire shop that put on my tires and wheels had the latest Hunter machine. But to no avail.Had it back twice but still shakes badly at 45-70 mph.
Any help would be appreciated.
