Be careful buying a car that has been in Hawaii. There is a major rust problem in the vehicles that have spent much time on the windward side of the islands. The wind is laden with salt mist that covers everything. Most well cared for cars on the north shore of Oahu start rusting from the inside after about 3 or 4 years.
