Up to now I have Dinanized my 7er (pic on Pa. Get Together#1)as far as possible. Has anyone ever done forced induction on a OBDll E38? I have been researching this for months and am hearing that it has not been done.

The options I am looking at are:
1 An ERT setup with no intercooler, 6-7 lbs. boost and retarded ignition timing along with a rising rate fuel pump.

2 An AMG/Mercedes tuner offering J&E Pistons (dished to lower compression & increase displacement to 5.2l), Total Seal rings, and a 12 lb. boost supercharger, with similar fuel setup.

3 An ESS (Norwegian) supercharger kit that I install. No further info on compositon of kit.

4 A custom installation from a local (Warminster, PA.) Porsche/Honda race tuner, called IMPO Performance, with turbo/supercharger experience, yet this would be his first V8 BMW. To his credit, Salvatore recommended an intercooler and a bolt on engine management system to take control of engine function from the stock ECU.

Has anyone put forced induction, or know of anyone that can do either a super or twin turbo charger job in a 7er??

Your comments/advice would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Simeon
