When you say "March" for the new 740iL, I assume you mean March 2002, correct? The new 7 won't debut until September 2001 at the Frankfurt auto show. And, I think the new 7 will be offered as a 730i, 730d, 740d, 735i/iL, 745i/iL, and 760iL. In the US, we will probably only get the 745 and 760, but with an increase in power, a 735i might be a good entry level 7!
My dad has a deposit on a 2002 760iL. My question; does anyone know when these things are going to hit US shores? I know the 750's were about 5 months behind the 740's for the E38's, and I'm hoping this won't be the case with the 760's. Anyone have any more info? I've heard the 740iL's will be here in March. It would be a bitch to have to wait till Sept.
