Thanks for input, and I want to emphasize that I'm totally with you on the BBS style preference. I would very much prefer to have BBS (or Kinesis/HRE/etc.), but most of them are very expensive, which is why I arrived at the MM Evos. Granted, the BBS RX is not that expensive, but it's not available in 19", nor is it available in staggered setup, both of which I really would like to have. 18" looks great, 19" looks better - 20" is too much (in my view). If I find a nice set of BBS style wheels in 19" staggered sizes at a decent price, I will strongly consider them over the MM wheels.

More opinions are welcome. If anyone has a pic of an Oxford Green in Sport version I would sing your praise if you post it ;)

Thanks,
Big-T

Hey Big-T,

I think the black would look great with the green.
Less chrome is always better in my book :-). But we gotta talk on the wheels....

IMHO, there are two things that don't look quite right on 7's - 19" wheels and 5-spoke designs. The 19's to me look a lot like all those Accords you see with 17" or 18" wheels riding an inch off the ground. And for some reason the 5-spokes just don't work for me. I've taken some informal polls around the office using tirerack.com(I'm shopping wheels too) and so far the runaway winner is the 18" BBS RX. I've found very few people who like any of the 5-spokes on the 7. Bimmers just seem to cry out for the "spokey" BBS mesh designs.

But hey it's your money and everyone has different tastes. As long as you like it - who really cares right ?

CD

All,

I have been thinking of replacing all my moldings with the Sport version's. My car is a 95', and further down the road I may update the face to the 99/00 headlights, blinkers and fenders. The color of my car is Oxford Green, and I feel uncertain what it would look like with the black moldings from the Sport. HAs anyone seen a Sport in Oxford Green? I thought about combining that with 19" MM Evo Sport wheels, which are sort of a dark silver color (see Tirerack's web site). I think the green looks great with the chrome moldings as well, so I'm uncertain what might look best.

Any thoughts? I would welcome any comments.

Big-T
