I have this working with my VCR....you need to convert a male-ended stereo mini plus into two female rca connectors...one for video and one for mono-sound...both share the ground. Radio shack had everything I needed. Works great although I wish it wasn't mono sound.

Has anyone attempted to hook up a portable DVD Player/VCR/Cam Corder for playback of audio through the sound system and video on the navigation system when not moving. It appears that the Aux inputs in the rear below the rear seat vents have only one input and one output. It is my impression that there is needed an input for audio and a separate input for video. The owners manual is not very clear on this. I have a portable DVD player and wish to link it to the vehicles audio and video. I have a 98 740IL (7/97 production date). Has anyone attempted to do this with success and what cables are needed.

Thanks in advance,
DJ
