I have found that a bulb with brass or plastic anywhere in the housing will cause this annoying problem.. My suggestion is to buy all new bulbs when any one of them burns out. You must use bulbs that have silver housings and no hint of brass or plastic. Replace all three and you will be good for a couple of years.

I recently replaced a burnt out brake light after the "check brake light" warning came on. Replacement bulb works fine. Warning light still on. Any solution? Thanks
