Can anyone tell me how a new 740il with snow tires will handle compared to a front-wheel drive car with no traction control but with snow tires?

I live in Michigan. I have an Oldsmobile Aurora, which is front wheel drive with traction control and ABS. It weighs about the same as my 740. As far as winter handling there is no comparison, the Aurora is far better in snow and ice. Directional stability is much better with the front wheel drive car. In the dry, however, I prefer the BMW from a handling perspective.
