Aside from the fact that 18 inch, staggered width, wheels and performance tires generate a significant improvement in handling, the iL sport package includes electronic Damping Control with a sport mode. An iL with sport package and one without (16 inch weels, normal suspension) feel like different cars to me.

If you come to Ann Arbor you will see an iL with sport, midnight blue, in about 5 weeks.
