The lights back cover? Are you referring to the trunk panels? You're not supposed to disassemble the lights, just replace them. It's half hour job max. If you're talking about the trunk panels you should be able to to do it without disassembling those. There's an opening on the left side next to the CD changer, and on the right side you just flip down the battery cover. It's a bit tight on the left side but with the right tool it should go smoothly.

I already bought the 2000 rear lights. But honestly, when I opened the trunk to start the job... I freaked out ! Coz the lights back-cover is quite big and takes a lotta time to dissemble... How much time should it take ??? OR am i better off just takin it to the dealer ? (they charge $75 where i live)

Am I hallucinating ? or is it easier than I think ??? I just don't wanna end up driving the 7 to the dealer with out rear lights...it looks UGLY man !
