It's fairly easy, the passenger side is very simple, drop down the cover for the battery and disconnect the one wire harness for the light assembly, take a socket set or small set of open end wrenches and remove the 4 gold color nuts, the whole light assembly should slide out, clean around the frame with a damp cloth, make sure it is dry and slide the new one in and reverse the procedure.

The driver side make take a little longer because it is more cramped with wires for CD\NAV\TV, but can be done. My car has CD\NAV, what I had to do was remove the black clips that hold the gray colored cover to expose the rear light panel assembly, locate the 4 gold nuts and remove them, I have a XXL hand size and I was able to squeeze my hand in the area with a open end wrench and remove the gold nut at the left side bottom, I did have to disconnect other wire harnesses in that area for additional clearance, but they are easy marked and can only go in one way. Slide the assembly out disconnect wire and clean and wipe area and put new light in, reconnect wire for light, and tighten all nuts. Reconnect any other wires you may have needed for clearance and put back gray cover and you are done. Total time should be no more than 30 minutes top for entire job.

If you ever put together your own home stereo or installed your own home DISH, or changed own oil, brakes, etc. YOU CAN DO THIS.

Go for IT,

Big H
