I had an Olds Toronado with front wheel drive. With the big V8 it had remarkable traction and a lot of front weight. Once, with chains, it was the only car to make it over the mountain in a couple of feet of new snow and ice. It pulled through like a tank. The hard part was dodging stuck Jeeps! I would think any front wheel drive will have better traction in snow.


Do you have snow tires on both cars?


Snows on the 740 not on the Aurora, which makes the comparison even more remarkable.
