I love the XJR, but......Bimmers rule! The things that are being said about the 740 and 540 are true, but remember that the 740 is also a very capable car on both straight and twisty roads. Sometimes it sounds like you're loosing all sporty feel when choosing the 7, which is not true.

Besides, I think the 7 looks better, it's more proportional in design, whereas the 5 looks too short and chubby (stubby?).
