The alarm can be programmed by the dealer to use the "chirp" sound or your factory horn. Again, the dealer has to program one or the other.


Anyone else thing the little chirp sounds "unBMW" - what ever that term means....? Is there a way to modify or just mute the sound without screwing up the alarm system?
